1.2343 mold steel adds the thermal effect of alloying elements such as chromium, molybdenum and vanadium. It has good tempering resistance and high temperature toughness, strong thermal shock resistance, excellent hardenability, and can adapt to water cooling.
1.2343 mold steel is generally used in extrusion tools for aluminum alloy production, such as molds and cores, extrusion cakes, extrusion rods, mold sleeves, extrusion cylinders, linings and intermediate sleeves, extrusion cylinder jackets, various types of aluminum and zinc Alloy mold casting tools, etc.
Heat Treatment:
Forging
Soft fire: 1050-850℃
Annealing: 820-840℃
Hardening: 1000-1030℃
Tempering: 530-680℃
Purity
According to ASTM E45 method A, A sulfide ≤ 0.5, B oxide, C silicate and D spherical oxide ≤ 1 or DIN 50602-K1 ≤ 10 or according to customer requirements.
Steel mill state
Softening annealing, good microstructure, hardness up to 229HB or quenched and tempered according to customer requirements.
